Clare Balding, a 38 years old BBC sports reporter, is reported feeling positive after being told she has thyroid cancer. She has had two surgeries. One to remove a cyst from her thyroid and the second to remove her thyroid gland.
Clare Balding, a 38 years old BBC sports reporter, is reported feeling positive after being told she has thyroid cancer. She has had two surgeries. One to remove a cyst from her thyroid and the second to remove her thyroid gland.
Balding is to receive radioactive iodine treatment next month. She will not be reporting Saturday's rugby league's Challenge Cup quarter-final. She does however plan to return to work as soon as possible.
