I was in alcohol treatment, I signed a release of information to probation officer and municipal court?

This information got out to other city employees not from yhe court. This then in turn got back to my employer, coworkers, my bussness contacts and family. This court is in Ohio, it is my understanding that most court records are public, one exception being medical records. It also seems to me this information should be protected under federal HIPPA laws.
Do I have any recourse against the courts for this?
