A Digital Camera Deal Really Depends On You

by Chris Campbell

Who says, you never want to buy the cheapest of anything? Your only going to get junk right? Wrong! Not if you educate yourself, and know what your shopping for. It doesn't matter if it's digital cameras or birch bark pencil holders. If you know what you want and are willing to educate yourself on the subject you can get some pretty good deals on just about anything. If you follow a few simple steps.

It all depends on what you want to do with the camera and if you need something small and lightweight to carry in a pocket or a purse. If you plan to carry a camera case, you can look at the EOS models. These cameras are larger than the compact cameras, but the image quality is superior.

It helps if you have a friend that's good at this stuff to talk with, or if your really lucky a helpful salesperson. Do try and stay away from the commission guys/gals, as they're motivations will always be a little suspect.

Having the internet close by is a great advantage when shopping for anything. Being able to compare prices from anywhere in the world will really stack the odds in your favor for finding the best prices. That doesn't necessarily mean you should purchase your next Canon SLR digital camera from Jim Bobs Digital Camera & Goats Emporium.

A few other Canon digital cameras suggestions would be the PowerShot models G9, S5 IS and the SX100 IS. The G9 has 12.1 megapixels with a four times digital zoom and six times optical zoom.

I've got a few favorite websites for digital camera comparison shopping, that have been quite helpful in my last few purchases. Be sure, to not just examine prices, but also what your getting for the price.

Camera models change quickly these days, and the latest designs will likely have more features for only a few dollars more.
