Fitness for Life: You Can Have Your Beach Body

How many of us have started out on fitness programs or bought gym memberships just to find them gathering dust or the little key chains leering back at us as me glance down at them with guilt? This has been me in the past for sure. What changed? Here is where my story begins... Young mom of two boys now, army wife, and model. Before my first son I was weighing in at 128 lbs but still not at all fit. I couldn't run or hike without getting out of breath. Well after my 1st child I had weighed myself at one point and was up to 184
lbs! This was very unsettling - especially when I ditched the sweat pants and tried to buy some jeans, just to find I was in a size 15!Late one night I was up feeding my youngest son. I was an infomercial for Hip Hop Abs. Ah that's nice. Someone that has time and energy to work out I thought. They did look like they were having fun. So I decided I would order it and just have the husband watch the kids while I worked out. I started my work outs and was having a lot of fun with the me time. Sometimes I was would have to fit it in during the baby napping and felt like I was depriving myself of rest but I realized that when I would "rest" instead of exercise for those 30 minutes or so I would feel more tired! After some time working out with this program I decided I was going to step it up a bit with weight training and p90x . This program was definitely a challenge for me since I was in such horrible cardio shape. Some days I even cried because I would be such intensity into the work outs. The next morning when I looked in the mirror to see those nice lean muscles it was always worth it!So this program was amazing but I wanted to change it up a little bit. I've already reached my goal of being under 130 lbs ( now at 126 ! ) but I decided I wanted to try yet another program... on to Chalean Extreme . This program has proved to be my favorite because it is upbeat and Chalene Johnson brings a different and explosive energy to the table.Fitness for Life: You Can Have Your Beach Body
