Everyone knows how popular yoga has become and trendy yoga clothes are no different. I know that guys may not think about about looking good during yoga class but we do. What's wrong with looking good AND feeling good. I don't see a problem mentioning fashion with fitness.

When I'm out shopping my my yoga friends I always try to look for fabric that have a good deal of stretch to it. I mean, I wouldn't be caught dead working out in just a sweat shirt and gym togs. No gym rat look for me thanks. I find that stretch fabric allows me to easiy get into some of the more complex poses. I want whatever edge I can get.
One thing you want to make sure about is that your yoga outfit looks good on YOUR body. Naturally stretchy fabric tightly fits your form, but be careful exactly how much it shows. Let's just say that you don't want the fabric to be too tight or else...well I think you get the picture.
Thirdly, pick a color that flatters your look and helps hide sweat stains. You ARE going to sweat, thats what exercise is all about. Its also very important to like what you are wearing. After all, that is an important part of looking and feeling good.
As well, choose the sort of fabric that makes your trendy yoga clothes not make you itch. Let's face it, the idea of wearing a burlap suit to practice your yoga isn't particularly attractive. So get something like cotton, satin or silk, or even hemp or linen. That would work.
And if you want to look nice don't bother with those running pants as you will sweat more than you might want. I forget this attire if you're going to practice Bikram or one of the other hot house yoga knock offs. I think the Bikram organization offers their own fashion line at theri online store on the website.
Which ever style of yoga clothes you buy on your next shopping trip-be it online or at a national retailer, buy something that soothes you and makes you feel well at ease during the beginning, middle, and end of your yoga session. You wont be disappointed that you did.
