Cycle for a Healthy Summer

Stay Fit This Summer by CyclingDuring the dry months of summer, riding a bike is an efficient way to keep fit, especially if you keep to it. Bicycles are inexpensive, depending on your riding style. The more challenging, the more expensive. To keep it simple, there are two main riding styles.
First being the road bike, and the second being the mountain bike. The Road bike (also known as a racing bicycle) was design to be ridden on paved or flat roads. Due to their lightweight design, road bikes are popularly used for touring.Mountain bikes are designed to travel over trails and rugged terrain. Mountain bikes are more robust and stronger in design. Most modern mountain bikes have suspensions to help smoothen the ride over rough terrain. Depending on your riding style, both types will benefit your health and stamina. Biking is kind to the joints, as older people will experience osteoporosis at some point, riding a bike can offer exercise without pain.Be sure to adjust the seat properly so that your legs will benefit full range of motion, promoting better blood circulation. Your leg muscles will grow over time due to regular biking. Road biking on flat terrain will result in nicely shaped and toned leg muscles. But if its big and bulky leg muscles you're after, then take your mountain bike to the nearest dirt trails. So now you know what style of riding you're in to, head over to your nearest bike store and I strongly recommend a bike store. Because a bike store can offer better advice on riding styles that is more suited to your needs; plus they can repair your bike too.And one last thing before you head off to the trail, it is always wise to stretch your muscles before and after riding to reduce cramps. And don't forget to wear a helmet too.Cycle for a Healthy Summer
