Underage Drinking; Crime and Punishment

Underage drinking is a problem in all of the states. The percentage of underage drinking in Texas and the fatality rate for teen drivers under the influence is the highest in and state in the U.S. In Texas, the average age of
teens that have begun drinking is 12. It is chemically dangerous for anyone, especially for people under the age of 21, to consume alcohol. The punishment for underage drinking is severe, ranging from a hefty fine to jail time.
