Any Experiments on internet that show the efficiency of heat transfer through carpets in underfloor heating?

Im doing a thesis of the efficiency of heat transfer efficiency through different carpet types. I cannot find any such experiments that have been conducted on the internet. What temperature should the hotplate (to simulate underfloor heating device) be? how long should the hotplate and carpet sample be in contact? I'm really stuck here & can't find any info. All help is greatly appreciated.
