Burning More Calories with Your Elliptical Workout

There are 3 main ways that can help you to increase the amount of calories you burn using and Elliptical Trainer. 1. Time - the easiest way to increase the amount of calories you burn is to increase the length of time you spend exercising. If you normal exercise for 30 minutes but want to extend this to 45 minutes then start off adding 5 minutes until you feel like you can increase your
workout by another 5 minutes. Remember that when you extend the length of time you exercise you will need to make sure that you are drinking enough water for this increase in exercising. 2. Using both your Arms and Legs - By pushing and pulling the handles while also using your legs, you will be using more muscle mass, which will increase the number of calories you burn. However you must use your arms and not just let the machine move your arms. You need to move them!! 3. Increase Resistance and Intensity - The one is very simple, you will burn more calories on resistance level 6 then you will on level 4. Interval is a good way to help improve your intensity level; you can do this by increasing the intensity high for 20 seconds then going back to normal intensity for 40 seconds. This will help to increase the number of calories you burn while also improving your resistance level, as you will find, that if you are working at level 3 it will gradually increase to level 4. Which ever way you choose to increase the number of calories you burn remember to listen to your burn, exercising is suppose to push you but not cause you pain!Burning More Calories with Your Elliptical Workout
