Senso: Cautiously paced research of human feelings, chronicling the relation between earthy, materialistic Austrian officer Granger and his aristocratic Italian mistress (Valli). The film is an enthralling union of the neorealism of Visconti's earlier work and the lush romanticism often discovered in his later films. Cast includes Alida Valli, Farley Granger, Massimo Girotti, and Heinz Moog. (115 minutes, 1954)
Good Times: Back while the harmonizing twosome was still considered wacky, they made this entertaining little film, with Sonny day dreaming about their potential film roles and he and Cher harmonizing "I Got You Hottie." Cast includes Sonny and Cher, George Sanders, Norman Alden, and Larry Duran. (91 minutes, 1967)
Siddhartha: Choppy rendition of Hermann Hesse novel follows Indian as he leaves hifamily to find more stimulating life. This film is too artsy, although on-location photography by Sven Nykvist is often illuminating. Cast includes Shashi Kapoor, Simi Garewal, Romesh Shama, Pinchoo Kapoor, Zul Vellani, and Amrik Singh. (95 minutes, 1973)
The Sensuous Nurse: Voluptuous Ursula employed as a nurse is actually helping the demise of a prosperous man with a heart problem by keeping his pulse speeding in this titilating, sex comedy. Ursula does look awesome in the nude, nonetheless. Cast includes Ursula Andress, Jack Palance, Duilio Del Prete, Luciana Paluzzi, Lino Toffolo, and Mario Pisu. (78 minutes, 1976)
The Front Page: Third filming of the Hecht-MacArthur play about crazy and woolly Chicago newspaperman in the 1920s has barely anything new to offer (with the exception of 4-letter words) although continues to be an entertaining piece of work. Cast includes Jack Lenunon, Walter Matthau, Carol Burnett, Susan Sarandon, Vincent Gardenia, David Wayne, Allen Garfield, Austin Pendleton, and Charles Duming. (105 minutes, 1974)
Rhapsody: 3 way romance amid opulent Taylor, violinist Gassman, and pianist Ericson. Cast includes Elizabeth Taylor, Vittorio Gassman, John Ericson, Louis Calhern, and Michael Chekhov. (115 minutes, 1954)
