has anyone used (in a bathroom ) electric underfloor heating with laminate flooring?

I have ceramic tiles down at the moment with the underfloor heating and it has not been very satisfactory. And wondered if I could use laminate panelling instead of the tiles. The heat keeps cracking the tile cement even though the correct tile cement was used.
