How can I get prescribed medical marijuana in NSW?

I just wanted to know how does one get the prescription and where to get it from in NSW. Also could someone tell me what conditions you must experience to be able to get it? I suffer chronic pain but I am not sure if I can get it. I have already tried many of the other prescribed pain killers but none works and my regular doctor doesnt know much about medical marijuana since the laws are recent.
