How to Make a Whiffle Ball

It's a nice day out. It's a perfect time to hit around a few balls, but you can't go to the golf course. Maqybe you really want to work on your swing, but there's just no way to get on the links, or they're just too expensive right now. Plus, you don't want to actually play a wholle
game of gulf, you just w3ant to hit a few balls around. You could just go into your back yard or front yard, but then there's the problems of where the ball is going to go. If you're a decent golfer, even a pitching wedge will shoot that golf ball a good ways. You don't want to be chasing your golf ball all over the place or disturbing your neighbors. There's a solution to your dilema, the whiffle ball. However, most people don't want to go out and buy a whiffle ball, so why not make one? You're going to need a ping pong ball or a table tennis ball. These are the same game, but they have different names. You're also going to need a drill with a small 1/8 bit on it.A whiffle ball essentially a hard plastic ball with a number of holes drilled in it. However, what most people don't know is that a whiffle ball's holes are made in a specific way. If you just start drilling willy nilly, you will mess up the aerodynamics of the whiffle ball itself. Many people, when they decide to try to make a whiffle ball they begin drilling a number of holes around the median of the ball, this couldn't be farther from the right way to do this. The median is where the ping pong ball is put together. See, a ping pong ball is 2 haves of a circle, welded together with plastic. The only thing keeping the ball together is this little weld. If you start drilling holes in top it, it will split apart naturally on the seam where the holes are.How to Make a Whiffle Ball
