No Ativan for 3 days and I still do not feel anxiety free?

I have taken 0.5 mg as needed for about ten years and then started taking it daily when I lost my baby last year due to a miscarriage. I want to get off this stuff but the panic attacks are horrible; anyone gotten off ativan, and been anxiety free afterwards? Thanks
