Make a fist and keep the wrist steady. Next straighten the fingers and thumb. Now bend the wrist back and move the thumb away from the palm continue by turning the wrist palm up. With the other hand pull the thumb gently away from the palm. Hold each of the positions at least 7 seconds and repeat 3-5 times a day.Fist Flexion Exercises: These carpal tunnel syndrome exercises are also known as "tendon gliding exercises". With these fingers move through 5 different positions and the wrist stands at a single position. Start with the fingers straight and then make a hooked fist and return to the initial position. Next for a straight fist and then a straight hand. The final position is a full fist and straight hand.
