A sugar addiction, or a marijuana addiction...which one is worst ?

my sugar addiction is ruining my life, because I crave sweets all day everyday, I am at an unhealthy weight, I cant lose the weight, and have high blood pressure as a result...however my boyfriend has a marijuana addiction, he has to smoke everday a couple times a day, I'm pretty sure you know the effects of being a weed head...so which is worst ??
