What are some basic feng shui tips?

I really don't feel like buying anything right now but I'm trying to create some balance in my family's life.

What are some other ways I can get some balance in my family's life too.. lol. :)

I just want a home that feels.. new age/tranquil/peaceful, ect.

(Military life can be stressful)

It's religion AND spirituality... and feng shui for people is considered spiritual. Also, I asked for other ways to find balance- spiritually..
