What would be your job title if you wanted to research drugs such as ecstasy as a living?

I know it would be something along the lines of a Research Chemist, but that would involve research more then just ecstasy. Would I have to become educated in that profession and then just focus on Ecstacy, or is there a different job title for something like that?

Also, what schools in Alberta or BC would be good to look into for a education in something like this?
