Finding The Perfect Business Tuxedo

Your knowledge skills and abilities can surely advance your business career. That is just a simple fact. But one thing you may not realize is, your first impression also counts a great deal. The way people see you, especially the first time they meet you, makes a lasting impression. This is why it pays to invest in a good business tuxedo.

I'm sure we have all heard how first impressions count, so it's important to create a very favorable first impression with anyone you meet in the course of your business. It can take a long time to convince others that their first impressions were wrong. You will be fighting an initial uphill battle just to get back on level terms.

All of this is so unnecessary. If you had been dressed differently, so that as soon as you walk into the room you give the impression that you are a strong, confident businessman, your words and actions will be much more powerful. You will already seem like a winner in their eyes.

This may seem a little over the top. It's not. Companies spend huge amounts of money employing psychologists and consultants to tell them exactly what you have just read.

Imagine if you had to make a presentation to prospective clients. What would they take more seriously? Someone dressed in a jacket and pants, or someone dressed immaculately in a fine quality business tuxedo?

The way you look is not only a statement about who you are. Your appearance presents an image about your company to those with whom you are doing business.

A good business tuxedo is essentially a power suit.

Power dressing is not a mystery. The simplicity of a single-breasted black wool tuxedo is what makes the strong statement. The shirt never veers from pristine white, collar carefully buttoned down. Black or dark navy blue is the tie of choice to accent the ensemble, and only black patent leather shoes, naturally.

You should follow this basic style when wearing a business tuxedo. If you must, you could wear a very dark blue tuxedo, but never anything but a white shirt and dark, matching tie.
