POLL: Does alcohol block the effects of ecstasy, if the ecstasy is taken after alcohol has been consumed?

I only want those with experience to answer this question. I know a few people who swear that they can mix the two and feel both effects. I also know some heavy ecstasy users who swear that alcohol will block the effects of ecstasy completely, when the ecstasy is taken after alcohol has already been consumed.
