e is actually fairly high im in the 70th percentile of the population for this) I am wondering if it is posible that they dropped the ball and maybe I should have a dual diagnosis with this.
I also have another question I also find when reading about slow visual processing speed disabilities, I do not fit the norm for it. Everything I read about it states that people who have this disability read slowly. I find however I do not my reading speed has always been fairly high I have always read at a higher grade level then what I am, I have rarely had trouble reading other than I have impulsivity problems and I have issues sitting down and reading for longer than 1 hour. It should also be mentioned that in my personality profile it states that I score high in impulsivity, from what I understand, impulsivity is more common in ADD then slow processing speed. They explain my impulsivity as being apart of my personality and not related to my learning disability. It should be mentioned that I may not have problems reading but I do have problems with grammer, I rely on spell check basically. (as well I read that clumsyness and spacial perception tends to be a little
off with disorder, which I do tend to knock things over from time to time)
I will say I feel incredibly impulsive, and I do show impulsivity quite often. Am I wrong in thinking my psychologist is wrong and that I may have a dual diagnosis, and is it posible that my results have been miss read. I also have a high intelligence in logic this could mask my learning disabilities(I think anyways).
Also how I interpret ADD is that I believe its a high amount of impulsivity that impedes attention span thats how I understand it. Am I wrong in this belief.
Thanks for reading and hope to hear input soon, any opinions would be appreciated.
