A QUESTION ABOUT METHAMPHETAMINES?

Ok so i know that meth is really methyl and amphetamine. So, if i have an adderal (amphetamine), and a ritalin (methylphenidate), and i extract the methyl from methylphenidate, then i mix amphetamine and methyl. would i have methamphetamines??
EDIT: no i acctually dont have add or adhd, but my friend does, so i buy his pills. Im on them now which is the main reason why i am driven to post this question. haha
