The females range from a prior nun Collette to a horsewoman (Plummer) who wears a weird see through harness. Copious nudity couldn't keep this from being a massive bore. House on 92nd Street: Arousing documentary style drama-based movie. It's about truth and orchestrated on true locations about FBI counterespionage exercises throughout WW2: Nazi representatives, operating in N.Y.C. try to steal part of the atom bomb secrets. Charles G. Booth made an Oscar for this story. Cast includes William Eythe, Lloyd Nolan, Signe Hasso, Gene Lockhart, Leo G. Carroll, and Lydia Clair. (88 minutes, 1945)
Diggstown: Friendly yam in regards to a con-artist just sprung from detention center sets his sights on a boxing match with boxer Gossett because he need to make a big paycheck. The 2 megastars are extremely good, even if the script is contrived. Cast includes James Woods, Louis Gossett, Jr., Bruce Dern, Oliver Platt, Heather Graham, Randall "Tex" Cobb, Thomas Wilson Brown, Duane Davis, Willie Green, and George D. Wallace. (97 minutes, 1992)
The illustrated Man: Youthful drifter Drivas meets tattooed man Steiger, who is looking for the strange lady (Bloom), who "illustrated" his whole body. The drifter sees futuristic stories in three of the illustrations, most of which include megastar Steiger and, or Bloom and Drivas. The film is a disheartening, dull-paced adaptation of short stories from Ray Bradbury. Cast includes Rod Steiger, Claire Bloom, Robert Drivas, Don Dubbins, Jason Evers, Ton Weldon, and Christie Matchett. (103 minutes, 1969)
Shooter: Retired Marine Corp Sniper Bob Lee Swagger is asked to come to Washington, to help track another sniper that will try to kill the President. What happens to him next is a total shock. The same US government people that he is helping are actually setting him up to take the fall for the assassination. He somehow escapes when he is shot, and is now on the run. He is also ready to fight back.
Red Tomahawk: Commander Keel saves the town from the Sioux Indians in this Western film with lots of likable actors in the cast. Cast includes Howard Keel, Joan Caulfield, Broderick Crawford, Scott Brady, Wendell Corey, Richard Arlen, and Donald Barry. (82 minutes, 1967)
