What can my husband do or take to go through withdrawals from oxycodone?

He's trying to detox from oxycodone and the doctor gave him another pill to take that substitues the opiate one. He's been puking a lot though and seeing fuzzy. I want to help him and I don't know how. I am in Italy waiting for my visa and he's in America.
It's frustrating and I need to know how I can help him.
Any suggestions?
