How do I repair my roof after removing the satellite dish?

I am seriously thinking about removing my Direct TV dish from the roof of my house but really worried about leaks after its taken down. The dish was already there when I purchased the house but not really liking it there. Will I have to replace the shingles after I remove it or is there something I fill in the holes with that's not noticeable?
