How do I stop taking Prescription Oxycodone and Hydrocodone.?

I have seen the same Dr for over three years. I have chronic pain, and she has had me on oxycodone and hydrocodone. I want to try and quit taking these meds, but when I do I get sick. Does anyone know how to quit taking these without the sickness after taking them daily for over three years? Thank You for any advice
