smoking marijuana and addiction?

soo i have been smoking weed for like one year about every day now and i started feeling extremely awkward and uncormfortable around people even when im sober. i havent smoked for since friday and im very tempted to smoke right now cuz i have weed. if i were to smoke right now would i lose all the work ive done since friday not to smoke, and would the cycle restart to becoming normal again.
