What is the best floor for a basement kitchen?

We want to make one area in our basement into a kitchen. Our basement has a cement floor. We have just had the basement waterproofed as we used to get a lot of water. So we definitly don't want to put down wood or wood subflooring which would warp and mold. If we glue vinyl to the concrete it will be freezing to step on in the winter, but really don't want to get heated floors. Carpet won't work in a kitchen. Does that leave any options?
