I just got put on opana for pain, should I of asked for oxycontin instead?

Has anyone been on this drup? It is oxymorphone which I guess is a form of morphine?? It is supposedly 2x stronger than oxycontin. I was wondering if anyone has been on this or had any good/bad results while taking this med. Should I of asked for oxycontin instead? Please tell me anything you know about this drug. Thanks.
