How do I repair small holes in a new metal roof.?

I just installed a metal roof and I accidentally missed, on several screws, the 1 X 4 beneath. What is the best way to repair this? I thought about applying silicone and putting the screws back in, but that will leave two screws rather close together and quite obvious since they are on the very edge of the roof. Is there any type of sealant available that is durable and could be used to fill these tiny holes? Could something like J.B. Weld work? The holes are about 3/16ths of an inch in diameter.
