How soon after swallowing too much oxycodone would an overdose occur?

If someone takes too much oxycodone, when is it likely that overdose symptoms would appear? Say the person took oxycodone, then felt fine for the next 2-3 hours...is it likely that an overdose would still occur that much later, or would it happen immediately?
