If your doctor has decided to keep you on methadone maintenance pregnant, can your baby be taken away?

I dont need any shit about this, I just need the facts. I dont care what your personal feelings are about a pregnant woman being on methadone, I have a chronic illness, and this is what was decided by my health care provider that would be best in the long run for me and the baby. I'm just scared that CPS could take my child away even though its being prescribed.
