Why is alcohol treatment so expensive for alcoholics? At $20gs+ isn't that ridiculous?

If you are an alchoholic, you probably can't afford the treatment, may not have a job, and possibly don't have health benefits: so why is treatment so expensive? You may as well keep drinking!

I'm an alcholic and I don't know what to do! I don't work, have no benefits, need help, and have nowhere to turn. and I hate it. I wish I were a minority and knew how to get government assistance, but I'm white and have nothing.
