can methamphetamines cause nightmares?

i have a friend who is an ex drug addict and i didn't find out he used to be a tweaker until today. we been friends for like 2 years.

i was asking him a lot of questions to see what it was like. and he said of course. its fun when your on it like its supposed to be. but it causes nightmares. he said he used to wake up constantly when trying to sleep cause there were so many methamphetamines in his system. then he said he would sometimes wet the bed cause the meth was giving him nightmares.

jeeze. i guess meth is just as bad as everyone says it is.
