Has recreational usage of marijuana increased in California since it became for medical purposes?

I'm writing an essay on the legalization of medical marijuana in Florida. One of the main arguments I have against it is that recreational usage would probably increase. However, I can't find anything that shows that its usage has increased or decreased in states where its legal. Please help me.
