It would seem that the cold front had caused many problems for the people in the UK this month and this is especially true for the old, young and ill! We seemed to have gotten through this as a country although I do think we could have handled it a lot better than we did. On whole as a country we have spent over £1.2 billion over just a few weeks and that has turned out to be a lot more than the average winter. At Work The Christmas break hadnt done wonders for the offices because people had not been in them for around 10 days then of course the cold front came in making it worse. The offices were left cold so the heating was turned up to the max on arrival. So many shops did also have their heating turned up because of the weather, this was partly done to keep customers happy. On top of this many stores were getting in things like convector heater and a fan heater to keep the staff warm. At Home So many people were already freezing and once the cold front came in t
hey has just reached the end of it and had enough so they decided to just turn up the heating. Many children and parents were still at home because of the snow and people are just not prepared to be cold when they are in their homes all day long. Problems Well there aren't really any immediate problems for the bigger people involved like the government as all they need to do is get a bit more gas in but for the general population the heating bills will be pretty steep this month so make sure you save a bit of extra money for this. Of course you could just get portable heaters for occasions such as this.
