will Termidor (Fiprinil), applied in a trench around my home for purposes of eliminating termites, harm bees?

i know studies have shown that fiprinil can be lethal to bees. but when used to treat termites, it's applied 6" below the ground in a "trench," then covered with soil. seepage is minimal and the product dries quickly. does anyone out there know if fiprinil applied in this fashion is harmful to bees? i want a treatment that will eliminate the termites but still be as environmentally friendly as possible. i'm also thinking of becoming a beekeeper ... therefore i want a form of termite control that won't kill the bees. thanks for any answers.
