Can I take a sleeping pill with my oxycodone?

I was given oxycodone after my tonsilectomy when I finished my Roxicet . I noticed that when I take it during the day I am drowsy, but when I take it at night, I can't sleep for anything! I would call the nurse but because the holiday noone is there. I just would really like to get to sleep sometime before 5am like I have been lately!
