Can I use color safe bleach on my basement walls to get rid of mold and mildew??

I'm remodeling my basement and theres mold and mildew on the walls, need to scrape and bleach the walls to kill the mold/spores before insulating and drywalling. Can I use color safe bleach for this, or does it have to be straight bleach, and recommended bleach/water mix?? thanks gents.
