The reason it will actually (counterintuitively) reduce marijuana addiction is because the countries that made it legal saw a decrease in use, and this is because it's not seen as a symbol of rebellion anymore. And if we plant it everywhere people won't be as inclined to do year around flowering, which mean manijuanics could just smoke it on special yearly buddings.

The reason I use the term addicts to is to compare habitual marijuana users to habitual alcohol drinkers, alcoholics. Perhaps the word addict does illcit thoughts of hard drug users but the meaning of the word is addiction, and us humans (and other creatures) are and have been addicted to thousands of things (eating too much, countless legal and illegal drugs, television, aimless internet browsing, eating too little...the list goes on)
