How would half a pill of ecstasy affect a person?

They would be around 120-130 lbs and about 5' 6 and it is the first time theyre gonna try it,they have eaten a little bit of food that day,and the half pill is a orange pieces. Would they still feel a high? how long would it last? would it still affect their pupils?
