I have migraine headaches and am thinking about seeking medical marijuana?

I live in california which is a state where marijuana is used for medicinal purposes. I was wondering if anyone had any information about this or have gone through the steps to obtain medical marijuana. If so, how is it working for you and do you recommend it? Your comments and suggetions are appreciated.
