Tell me about Suboxone...everything you can. I started it three weeks ago for opiate addiction.?
I just want to know what I may be getting myself into. I have had no opiates other than the suboxone in three weeks (which is great), but I just wonder if I am going to hate life when the suboxone treatment is over in a year? Will I be Ok? I'm 33wks pregnant and the owner wants to treat our house for termites. The termite guy said they use Premise 200SC and that it was completely safe. I'm of the belief that NO sort of manmade chemical can be 100% safe for pregnant women. I told the termite guy that I'd like to research it, and he tried to tell me not to, because there's a lot of unreliable info out there, and suggested I go talk to my doctor instead. I don't have a lot of confidence in GP's either, so I personally found that quite insulting and told him I've researched lots of stuff on the internet and know what I'm doing. He finally stopped trying to talk me out of it when I told him I had a science degree and knew a fair bit chemistry. It almost felt like I was being spoken down to by some dark ages mechanic! Diet pills during pregnancy?
My mother in law is 72 years old now, but 54 years ago she was a newly wed starting a family. Her first child was a big baby. When she became pregnant with her second child, she begged her doctor to help her have a smaller baby. Her OB/GYN prescribed diet pills and she took those little pills during her entire pregnancy. Her baby girl was huge in spite of those diet pills.
After my sister in law was born, my mother in law said the baby cried constantly. Once they got home from the hospital, my mother law says that my sister in law slept all the time. From birth until age 12, my sister law's favorite place was her bed. She slept constantly. Even now, at age 51, her favorite pass time is sleeping.
During adolescence and young adult hood, my sister in law became addicted to methamphetamine. She said taking the drug made her feel normal. She is now a recovering drug addict and alcoholic, but she still misses the drugs. Her daughter, my niece, is also a methamphetamine addict. My niece spent two years in prison for criminal activity associated with drug abuse. The cycle continues.
Is there anyway possible the diet pills my mother in law took during her pregnancy 52 years ago could have caused my sister in law's drug addiction and subsequently my niece's drug addiction?
I can't help but wonder. Although I have suggested this possibility to my mother in law, she thinks it is far fetched. She also doesn't think taking those diet pills while pregnant was wrong -- she has justified it as being prescribed by her doctor and she was just following his instruction.

Cadillac acceleration problem?
I asked this earlier but now I have more info. I have a 1985 Cadillac fleetwood with a 4.1 v8, digital fuel injection. When ever I try to drive up an incline, the slightest bit of gas causes the car to pop and sputter and occasionally die, but it fires right back up. Other than on hills, the car rides and drives great. My fiancé followed me home and said I have a single exhaust, but I appeared to have dual, because exhaust was coming out both sides. This makes me question the catalytic converter. Is that a possible diagnosis?

After drinking the drink which contained vodka i began to feel very strange like feeling warm and out of it, but also a strange feeling of being alert too. Like being very very drunk but without the drunk feeling physically, just mentally. i had the first drink at 8:45 and can't remember after 10:30 at all. All i know is that i had 1 or 2 more drinks and i know there was a white ice cube in the drink each time. I woke up at about 6:30 am the next morning naked and with no explanation of how i got there. The next day when i work up it felt like just 2 seconds ago i was sitting having a drink and then suddenly i was in a bed naked!
When i woke up i felt very restless and unusual feeling, i cant really explain, soro of a buzzing feeling but coupled with a feeling of fear. For a number of days after i felt unwell and feeling extreemely cold a times and quite nervous and scared.

Can I join the Navy if I did a voluntary stint in rehab for alcohol abuse when I was 21?
I went to rehab because I was scaring my mother and myself with drinking. I was not and I am not now in any way dependent on any substance, I went to "open my eyes". I have no criminal record, dui's, drunk in public etc. The head Dr at the clinic said he would be more than happy to write a waiver for the Navy if needed. Would this disqualify me? And also, should I just not mention rehab or would it show up on my medical history?
Basement Privacy concerns regarding meter reading New York City?
We are remodeling the basement and would like opinions.
We have an electric meter in the front of the basement. There is a wall dividing the living area and the front where the meter man comes to read the meter.

We are thinking about knocking down the wall to add an 6feet in length. making the new area 13x26x
However we are not sure if future renters are concerned about the meter person seeing their whole room when he comes to read the meter.
If you were looking for a place to live would this be a big issue for you? or not an issue at all.
What happens if you are not home and the landlord (me) has to open the door for the meter reader. The two of us would see your whole room. Would you be concerned about things missing?

I'm 21 and I've been taking a benzo for 8 months at first I was taking Xanax .5mg daily and then they switched me to Ativan and im taking 2mg daily for the last month and im having what they call inter-withdrawal where im constantly having withdrawal symptoms on a theraupetic dose and it's to the point where my body keeps craving more and i've tried tapering myself off and I get extremely out of control and depressed so I think it would be best to do it inpatient..im still struggling with panic even taking the benzos so i've decided to go inpatient and get off these meds and try something I can take thats not going to be addictive..please tell me how long its going to take me to withdrawal while in inpatient?-thanks:))..oh and also should I go to the local hospital where it can be done for free(I currently have no insurance) or should I try one of the inpatient dual diagnosis clinics but its going to cost me 2000.

A spiritual crisis hit after I quit my drug addiction. I cannot make any sense of it?
I just quit a 4 year addiction (marijuana) and a lot of "stuff" is coming out. I am not going psychotic, and I am working with a spiritual advisor.
It started with nightmares about demons and the end of the world. Then, I began having horrific panic attacks about my own existence. Issues like, "What am I? What is my soul? What is reality?", etc. I understand this is a spiritual crisis. But, I am still experiencing the emergency. I am getting moments where I desperately want this to all go away. It feels like the greatest suffering. I imagine going through this experience permanently, as if my soul will be reborn over and over, only to suffer so much more human suffering. Please help :
